Dear postdocs.

On Friday May 13th, Chris Melton will come to CU to tell us about his transition from Academia to Industry and to share his experience and knowledge of Industry.

Chris has a background in Astrophysics but is now working in the Biomedical field.

He is the founder of Corvix Space System, an aerospace company and the CEO and Founder of Corvectra, Inc. a Denver-based biosensor and medical company born in Silicon Valley. Chris leads a team to develop disruptive sensing technologies that will change the way human beings explore and connect to their health and each other.

I would also like to bring to your attention that Chris is looking at bringing up to two new engineers on his Corvectra Denver team! An optical engineer (minimum M.S. degree and experience with spectroscopy, prefer Ph.D. in biophysics, applied optics, etc.) and a programmer with either a biomedical or physics background (or both) are needed.

Please come join use on Friday 13th to meet with Chris and address any further questions to the PAC or myself.
